Monday delivered a rivalry win for Dallas, a profitable split on our football tickets, and a World Series that Milwaukee now controls. Across the Atlantic, Harry Kane claimed football’s biggest individual honor.

Dallas wins the rivalry; the over delivers

The Cowboys beat Philadelphia 38–21, finding the offensive balance they needed while extending the Eagles’ losing streak to five.

Philadelphia scored touchdowns on its first two possessions and opened the second half with another. But its defense couldn’t consistently stop Dallas or disrupt Dak Prescott. The Cowboys finished with 416 total yards, including 212 rushing, repeatedly keeping drives alive.

Javonte Williams and Tyler Goodson helped establish the ground game, while Prescott and CeeDee Lamb supplied important connections. Philadelphia remained competitive into the second half before Dallas pulled away. The Cowboys improved to 3–4; the Eagles fell to 2–5, leaving their season under increasing pressure.

Our tickets: We pushed the total up to over 49.5 at +170, risking 2 units. The teams combined for 59 points, cashing that ticket for +3.4 units. Our 1-unit Eagles moneyline wager lost.

Monday Night Football net: +2.4 units.

One winner, one loser—and a positive return because the larger, plus-money ticket delivered.

Milwaukee 10, Tampa Bay 1: One win from the championship

We had no bet on World Series Game 3.

Milwaukee erupted for eight runs in the fifth inning. Jackson Chourio collected four hits, William Contreras added three, and Robert Gasser allowed one hit across six scoreless innings.

The Brewers lead 3–0, putting them one victory from their first World Series championship. Tampa Bay must win four straight. Milwaukee is firmly positioned to finish the job; the Rays’ immediate task is surviving Game 4.

Harry Kane finally has his golden moment

Harry Kane is the 2026 Ballon d’Or winner.

The Bayern Munich and England striker finished ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal, becoming the first English winner in 25 years after scoring 73 goals for club and country last season.

Kane also claimed the Gerd Müller Trophy, recognizing his scoring achievements. His Ballon d’Or made him the first player from a German club to win the main award in three decades.

For a player whose career has so often been discussed through what was missing, this was a night to celebrate what he delivered.
