Three Legs. One Sunday Ticket: Defense, Offense and Home Field
Three legs, three reasons: Minnesota’s defensive value with an alternate spread, Buffalo’s offense, and Denver’s defense at home. Our Sunday ticket pairs Vikings +4.5 with Bills moneyline and Broncos moneyline for a 1U three-leg parlay.
Minnesota at Detroit | Buying the cushion
Play: Vikings +4.5 (−140). Saved projection: Minnesota 24.0, Detroit 20.9.
We see Minnesota’s defense keeping this divisional matchup within three points, with a real opportunity to win outright. Our saved projection supports that view, putting the Vikings ahead by a field goal.
We’re buying a point from +3.5 to +4.5 and paying the extra juice for protection against a four-point loss. The additional point specifically brings a four-point defeat inside our ticket, we like Minnesota’s value and want the extra room.
Baltimore at Buffalo | Trusting the offense
Play: Bills ML (−170). Saved projection: Buffalo 28.4, Baltimore 26.3.
Our read is that Buffalo’s offense will ask more questions than Baltimore’s defense can answer over four quarters. We’re backing the Bills to sustain drives, create scoring opportunities and deliver when the game tightens.
The projection gives Buffalo a narrow point advantage. That is why we’re taking the moneyline: the Bills need to win, and a close finish still gets this leg home. Baltimore can make this competitive; our confidence rests on Buffalo producing enough offense to finish ahead.
Kansas City at Denver | Home field and defense
Play: Broncos ML (+100). Saved projection: Kansas City 22.2, Denver 19.0.
This is the leg where our matchup judgment differs from the projection. The projection favors Kansas City by a field goal, but we consider that close enough to back Denver’s home field and defense at even money.
We’re looking for the Broncos to limit touchdowns, force difficult third downs and keep the game within reach into the fourth quarter. In that kind of contest, a timely stop or one productive late drive can decide the result. We’re taking Denver to make those decisive plays at home.
The projection remains Chiefs 22–19. The wager is Broncos moneyline, a deliberate home-team call in a game we expect to be tight.
Our ticket | Three-leg parlay — 1U
Vikings +4.5 × Bills ML × Broncos ML.
Minnesota supplies the points cushion. Buffalo supplies the offensive upside. Denver supplies the home-defense angle. All three legs must cash for the parlay to win.
